Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to take charge of customer onboarding for the Crypto.com App and related product areas. Your primary focus will be onbridging regulatory requirements, customer acquisition, and time-to-value. Your goal is to enhance the customer journey to ensure compliant account opening, faster activation, and access to key products.
Your responsibility will encompass both nurturing onboarding as a growth-oriented product and managing a regulated platform. With a mandate to oversee the onboarding journey, you will be tasked with driving account opening processes, KYC compliance, activation strategies, referral programs, as well as facilitating the introduction of new products and supporting a streamlined trading experience.
Reporting to the Onboarding squad Lead, you'll collaborate closely on the trading side of the responsibilities. You will have the autonomy to craft your roadmap, make critical prioritization decisions, and drive the how and when of product releases.
If you have prior experience in developing onboarding solutions within a regulated fintech environment, the multifaceted challenges of this role will be familiar to you. Your role entails building a comprehensive onboarding platform that supports a diverse array of products, regulatory frameworks, and trading pathways, representing an evolving playbook.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end-to-end management of compliant customer onboarding, spanning account opening, identity verification, KYC compliance, and enhancing platform functionalities.
- Transform onboarding into a catalyst for growth, focusing on activation, referral programs, user incentives, and swift time-to-value.
- Optimize and enhance the onboarding funnel by proactively identifying drop-off points, implementing necessary interventions, and measuring completion and activation rates.
- Extend onboarding capabilities to encompass various products and markets, ensuring a seamless experience across different platforms without creating disjointed customer journeys.
- Take charge of managing trading products alongside the Trading team, linking onboarding processes to initial trading experiences and ongoing trading engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience handling consumer onboarding and growth initiatives concurrently, with a track record of successfully driving significant improvements.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing account opening or KYC procedures within the framework of a regulated product.
- Experience in adapting a shared onboarding platform across different products or markets while tailoring the user journey to fit new regulatory guidelines or product specifications.
- Solid understanding of trading products to confidently take on ownership responsibilities within that realm.
- Proficient in operating as a senior individual contributor, with the ability to autonomously manage multiple work streams, make informed prioritization decisions, and navigate through uncertainty with efficacy.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in crypto trading, multi-asset products, prediction markets, sports products, or multi-market consumer products would be advantageous.
