Senior Product Designer (DeFi)

About the role:

  [Crypto.com] is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to spearhead design efforts within their DeFi Wallet. The role involves crucial contributions to designing, testing, and enhancing the product, empowering users to delve into decentralized finance and associated applications. With strong ties to the Cronos chain, Crypto.com's flagship app, and Visa cards for unique product opportunities, the DeFi Wallet occupies a distinctive position in the market.

      The Senior Product Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and research partners, jointly owning an app vertical and partnering effectively to deliver solutions with their teams.

Responsibilities:

  - Lead the resolution of intricate design challenges, translating customer insights and data analytics into innovative concepts driving product development.
  - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially engineers, to ensure a smooth transition from concept to product release.
  - Take a lead role in collaboration with product managers, influencing the product roadmap's evolution and definition.
  - Encourage cross-departmental collaboration among designers to elevate design standards within the organization.
  - Mentor and guide other designers using extensive experience to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented design team.

Requirements:

  - At least 5 years of experience in designing digital products/services within a B2C setting.
  - Demonstrable portfolio showcasing design work for digital products/services.
  - Demonstrated interest and experience in DeFi, cryptocurrency trading, and web3 exploration.
  - Expertise in crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms.
  - Proficiency in identifying user journey gaps and excelling in UX thinking.
  - Profound understanding of visual design principles.
  - Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale and strategy.
  - Ability to integrate seamlessly into cross-functional collaborative teams.
  - Proficiency in design tools like Figma and prototyping tools.
  - Dedication to fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture within the team.
