Description
At R3, we are facilitating the entry of the next trillion dollars of assets onto blockchain by connecting traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi). Our focus lies in introducing institutional-grade RWA yield vaults, which are seamlessly composable with Solana DeFi.
Role:
We are in search of a DeFi-native product leader enthusiastic about shaping on-chain capital markets. The ideal candidate embodies a deep understanding of on-chain finance culture and mechanics. Responsibilities involve steering product design, implementation, and positioning for the Corda protocol yield vaults. An adept candidate will be well-versed in existing RWA protocols; however, a successful candidate will possess the drive to innovate and deliver future advancements.
Responsibilities
- Define and steer the product roadmap for Corda yield vaults, from inception through to refinements
- Align with the requirements of users and stakeholders within the on-chain ecosystem, such as allocators, curators, and DeFi partners
- Drive product decisions and results while harmonizing strategic outlook with day-to-day execution
- Collaborate with R3 Product and Engineering teams to actualize your roadmap and ensure organizational alignment with your vision
- Simplify intricate asset structures and compliance standards into easy-to-use on-chain components
- Act as an external representative in the DeFi community, shaping dialogues and gathering feedback
- Stay informed about regulatory updates and tailor both product design and marketing strategies accordingly
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in DeFi, with preferably a proven track record of DeFi product design and launch, or substantial integration experience
- Profound comprehension of DeFi mechanisms, strategies, and tokenomics
- Proficiency in Solana, with knowledge of its DeFi environment (or ability to swiftly get up-to-speed)
- Desirable familiarity with financial products like debt, equity, private credit, and collateral management
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks for tokenized assets
- Comfort with uncertainty, ability to make decisive judgments, and take ownership of outcomes
- Active participation in the crypto community (preferably native to Crypto Twitter)
- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders effectively
- Possess a transparent, adaptable, and collaborative approach with a hands-on problem-solving mindset
