We are in search of a skilled Senior Rust Blockchain Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Rust Blockchain Engineer, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of blockchain protocols and systems. Your role involves contributing to the development of innovative blockchain solutions and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our blockchain infrastructure. Our international team thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment, leveraging technical expertise to pioneer cutting-edge blockchain solutions. What You’ll Own:

• Make foundational design decisions for core blockchain infrastructure components.
• Lead the development, testing, and optimization processes for these components to ensure performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Take technical ownership of novel systems, identifying opportunities for innovative research and development.
• Play a significant role in shaping the company's future, actively participating in strategic decision-making and observing the immediate impact of your contributions.
• Engage in conferences and explore opportunities within the on-chain ecosystem.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of hands-on Software Development experience using Rust.
• Previous work experience on a layer-one (L1) blockchain network.
• Proficiency in common design patterns and a strong focus on software architecture design.
• Passion for writing secure, fast, well-documented, and tested code.
• Experience in technical writing and documentation.
• Strong English language skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Enjoy mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge.
• Collaborative team player able to work across engineering, marketing, and support functions to deliver top-notch solutions.
• Autonomous, self-driven, and ego-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Theoretical and practical background in using Rust and/or Substrate for constructing L1 blockchains / relay chains / parachains.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of blockchain-based systems (dApps, rollups, etc.), with specific focus on Ethereum and/or other EVM-based solutions.
• Understanding of Zero Knowledge Cryptography, general Cryptography, and their application in blockchain technology.

In compliance with New York City's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position if based in NYC is USD 170,000 to USD 195,000.
