About The Role 🤔:

At Immutable, we are committed to revolutionizing the gaming experience for web3 gamers and facilitating true digital ownership of in-game assets. The role within the Commerce team focuses on enhancing the user experience for gamers utilizing Immutable zkEVM chain and Checkout products developed to streamline Swapping, Bridging, Onramping, and Purchasing experiences for game developers.

Key responsibilities involve collaborating with gaming partners to optimize the Checkout process, ensuring seamless player interactions within the gaming ecosystem. This role champions innovation, solving challenges unique to Blockchain technology, and driving customer-centric product improvement to enhance market competitiveness.

You’ll Be Empowered To 🎮:

• Enhance the developer experience of Checkout to facilitate seamless adoption by game studios
• Design and implement high-performance systems enabling game studios to conduct high-volume asset transactions during game launches
• Integrate on-chain functionalities like wallet connections, transaction submission, and smart contract deployment
• Conduct data analysis to drive future product refinements based on performance metrics
• Engage in a Web3 development environment to advance skills in blockchain development
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting
• Iterate on products based on customer feedback in an experimental work environment
• Ensure operational excellence and efficient workflows for services owned by the team
• Continuously refine team processes and practices

We'd Love You To Bring 🤝:

• Proficiency in Go or Typescript preferred; extensive experience in other Backend languages such as Java or Kotlin also considered
• Strong proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Competence in managing CI/CD workflows
• Extensive expertise in cloud-based deployments and monitoring
• Proven ability to excel in high-pressure environments with broad domain expertise
• Focused decision-making and ability to navigate rapidly changing scenarios
• Proficiency in designing scalable system architectures and making informed decisions on backend system components
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in pair programming and collaborative teamwork
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services
