About the Role
Travala.com is the world's leading Web3 travel booking platform, with AVA as its native utility token. We're hiring a Senior BD Manager to own new coin listings on Travala end-to-end — sourcing targets, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. Listings may be structured as a traditional paid fee or as an in-kind token arrangement, decided deal by deal — the specific structure isn't the focus of this role, closing quality listings is.
This is a hunter role, not a strategist or management role. You'll have sales collateral and initial market research to build from - you're not starting from a completely blank page.
While this is a fully remote position, candidates based in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region are preferred to align with working hours across our wider growth team and key internal departments, with flexibility for exceptional candidates in other locations.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full listing deal cycle: prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closing - across paid listings and in-kind/token-based listing arrangements
Build and actively manage a prioritized pipeline of target projects, using our existing research as a starting point and expanding it over time
Represent Travala directly to token project founders, BD leads, and treasury teams to pitch new listings
Negotiate commercial terms within approved guardrails, and manage the process through to signature
Keep leadership updated on pipeline status, deal velocity, and market feedback on our listing offering
Build strategic token partner relationships to drive revenue, while identifying broader ecosystem or co-marketing leads for internal teams.
Act as primary BD liaison for internal teams (product, legal, marketing, finance) to coordinate workflows, documentation, and compliant token integration.
Research and stay up to date with cryptocurrency market trends, emerging tokens, and innovative blockchain projects to identify potential listing opportunities.
What's Not in Scope
To keep this role focused and avoid overlap with our marketing team, the following sit outside this role:
Post-signature announcements, co-marketing, and campaign work - owned by our CMO's team once a deal is signed.
Broader strategic partnerships beyond listings (e.g. major platform integrations) - owned separately.
Managing other BD staff -this is an individual contributor role, not a management position.

Strong sales instincts and comfort with rejection - this is a quota-driven, outbound-heavy role.
