About the Role

As part of the Legal and Compliance Division, you will be responsible for producing comprehensive due diligence reports on tokens from various ecosystems under consideration for listing on our exchanges worldwide. This role involves conducting screenings for "Politically Exposed Persons" and sanctions, evaluating smart contracts, assessing levels of decentralization, analyzing protocol tokenomics, utilizing block explorers like Etherscan, and more. Your technical expertise will be crucial in providing detailed insights to support the Legal, Risk, and Listing teams in safeguarding our customers from potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop detailed due diligence reports for the Legal and Compliance Division.

• Analyze data from network nodes and market sources, review smart contracts, identify vulnerabilities, and delve into token economics intricacies.

• Create frameworks and processes for tracking changes in ecosystems and protocols, such as new governance proposals and node client upgrades.

• Independently handle research requests, provide recommendations to senior management, and share knowledge across the organization.

• Act as a key resource within the organization, collaborate with teams to offer training, and enhance oversight processes.

• Offer advisory services to different parts of the business on analytical, quantitative, and qualitative challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance.

• Previous experience in a related technical role, such as developer, analyst, data scientist, or researcher.

• Proficient in digital assets, blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized applications, governance models, and industry trends.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a knack for problem-solving and effective communication.

• Demonstrated expertise in market research, data analysis, and report writing, preferably in the blockchain or tech sectors.

• Detail-oriented, diligent work ethic, able to deliver high-quality results quickly, and passionate about knowledge sharing.

• Keen interest in on-chain research and practical experience with languages like Python, Solidity, SQL, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of global regulatory frameworks and familiarity with legislative and regulatory documents.

Salary Information

The salary for this position ranges from $104,000 to $151,000 and may include additional performance and long-term incentives based on relevant factors.
