Social & Community Growth Manager (GCC)
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Social & Community Growth Manager (GCC). The key focus of this position is to oversee the expansion of Crypto.com’s community, enhance social engagement, and drive growth within the Gulf region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional content creation, managing ambassador programs, and spearheading community initiatives that foster connections between Crypto.com's ecosystem and Arabic-speaking audiences. To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of digital culture within the GCC, have a track record of nurturing engaged communities, and possess the ability to adapt global product and brand strategies for impactful local implementation. Close collaboration with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Business Development teams is essential to bring Crypto.com's mission of "Cryptocurrency in Every Wallet™" to life in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Growth Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute the growth plan for the GCC region, ensuring alignment with global Product Marketing and Growth Marketing objectives.
- Meet regional KPIs related to community growth, engagement, and performance on social channels.
- Support Business Development initiatives through co-marketing activations, offline events, and partnerships that enhance adoption and brand visibility.
- Community Growth & Engagement
- Oversee the Arabic Telegram community, implementing engagement strategies such as AMAs, webinars, and giveaways.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a network of Ambassadors to drive local engagement and advocacy efforts.
- Monitor community sentiment, address emerging issues, and collaborate with PR/Comms and Customer Service teams for effective resolution.
- Social Media & Content Management
- Manage MENA social channels, including X and Instagram, and develop a localized content calendar with regular original or translated posts.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Compliance teams to ensure accurate localization of announcements and product updates.
- Work with User Acquisition, Creative, and SEO teams to align organic, paid, and search efforts in the GCC region while ensuring compliance with brand and legal regulations.
- KOL & Influencer Sourcing
- Identify and evaluate relevant KOLs and influencers within the GCC crypto, fintech, and investment communities.
- Work with the Growth Partnerships team on activation plans that align with regional goals and brand guidelines.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and sourcing tracker to identify emerging talent and enhance ambassador/influencer programs.
- Feedback & Insights
- Gather and analyze community feedback to provide structured recommendations for PMM, Product, and Growth teams.
- Track campaign performance through data-driven experiments and community growth testing.
- Present monthly reports on engagement trends, sentiment analysis, and actionable insights for performance enhancement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in social media and community management, preferably in fintech, crypto, or Web3 industries.
- Fluent in Arabic with strong English communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of GCC social trends, crypto culture, and content formats such as Reels, AMAs, and UGC.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking engagement metrics, social growth KPIs, and campaign ROI.
- Proven experience collaborating with product, marketing, and compliance teams.
- Proficient in Telegram, X, Instagram, and social analytics tools such as Sprinkl.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in relation to crypto marketing in the GCC region is a plus.
