The role of the Software Engineer IV at Foundry presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Software Engineer IV at Foundry, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work closely with product managers and team members from various functions to thoroughly understand project requirements and align them with organizational objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions with a focus on quality and reliability.
• Uphold best practices and coding standards to craft efficient and well-documented code that reflects technical excellence.
• Lead code reviews to provide constructive feedback and enhance code quality.
• Identify and resolve software defects promptly to ensure smooth operation and a superior user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills and inform technology decisions.
• Drive initiatives to optimize cloud architecture and scaling capabilities to improve infrastructure performance.
• Contribute to refining software development processes and methodologies to increase efficiency across the development lifecycle.
• Maintain effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders to deliver project updates professionally.
• Mentor team members on architectural and cloud expertise to encourage continuous learning and growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying requirements and delivering results aligned with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Passion for software development and growth as a software engineer.

Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience and interest in bitcoin and the crypto industry.
• Master's degree preferred (in relevant field).
• Familiarity with domain-specific knowledge, such as financial systems or e-commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in development tools and frameworks like version control systems, testing frameworks, and deployment tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database design principles preferred.
• Skills in AWS cloud concepts, including deployment and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of Data Engineer tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• Previous contributions to open-source projects or personal repositories.
• Prior experience in a startup environment and understanding of its dynamic nature.
