Solana Solutions Architect

R3 Labs, a partnership between R3 and Solana, aims to facilitate the transition of the next trillion dollars worth of assets onto blockchain. Specializing in enabling financial institutions and asset originators to tokenize and manage real-world assets, we merge R3’s expertise in security and compliance with the agility of cutting-edge blockchain networks. Our focus encompasses a diverse array of on-chain assets including securities, funds, carbon credits, and real estate, prioritizing composability and interoperability in our solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for clients and partners with a strong understanding of Web3 technologies.
• Act as a liaison between product, engineering, and enterprise clients to develop strategies for tokenizing real-world assets on Solana and related ecosystems.
• Design tokenization frameworks for various asset classes on Solana while addressing custody, compliance, and asset lifecycle processes.
• Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to comprehend technical needs and formulate integration strategies for APIs, smart contracts, oracles, and custodial solutions.
• Work closely with protocol developers and internal/external teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to the establishment of reference architectures and internal standards for compliant asset issuance.
• Keep abreast of Solana upgrades, DeFi infrastructure changes, and regulatory updates for staying informed on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in a technical architecture or solution engineering capacity.
• Proficiency with Web3 tools such as wallets, APIs, and smart contracts, particularly within the Solana ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of asset tokenization across various categories like securities, funds, and real estate.
• Knowledge of Solana architecture, including SPL tokens, PDAs, and the anchor framework.
• Past exposure to regulated financial institutions or capital markets infrastructure is desired.
• Additional benefits include experience with enterprise integrations, custody APIs, or compliance tools.
• Preferred but not required: familiarity with Rust (able to read), prior experience with Ethereum or Cosmos.
