Role Description
We are on the lookout for a competent Solutions Architect with a minimum of 5 years in the industry to join our virtual team. The ideal individual will demonstrate expertise in designing Java Spring microservice applications and possess exceptional interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration across teams. Proficiency in English and Chinese is mandatory to engage effectively with a diverse cohort of colleagues. This role extends full remote flexibility, enabling work from any location globally, contingent upon a willingness to adapt to varying time zones for cross-location collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Employ robust architectural prowess to create and enhance Java Spring microservice applications.
- Collaborate closely with product and project managers in owning end-to-end system architecture.
- Communicate and coordinate proficiently with distinct tech teams across project lifecycles.
- Transform business needs into technical solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Conduct architectural assessments, pinpoint potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Offer technical mentorship to junior team members.
- Adjust time schedules to facilitate team interactions across diverse geographic regions.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in software development and architecture.
- Profound expertise in crafting Java Spring microservice applications.
- Exemplary cross-team communication abilities to explain technical concepts to non-tech collaborators.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages in a multicultural setting.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within remote teams.
