Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Ubiminds, you will be a pivotal player in ensuring successful technical onboarding, adoption, and continued customer satisfaction post-sale. Ideal candidates are passionate about hands-on coding, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines while also being dedicated to driving customer value, usage scaling, and seamless integration of Applitools into daily workflows.
Responsibilities
Technical Onboarding & Value Creation
- Lead the technical onboarding process for new clients
- Conduct practical training to integrate test frameworks and pipelines
- Guide customers in executing initial use cases aligned with success metrics
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of value to customers
Adoption & Continuous Success
- Foster ongoing adoption across teams, projects, and workflows
- Aid customers in expanding test coverage, implementing best practices, and boosting usage levels
- Offer expert advice on test automation strategies, visual testing, and quality enhancement
- Identify gaps in adoption and recommend technical enhancements proactively
Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting
- Act as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts
- Resolve complex technical challenges by coordinating with the Support team
- Perform technical health assessments, system architecture reviews, and optimization sessions
- Lead root cause analyses for escalations and recurring issues
Customer Support & Risk Management
- Proactively identify technical risks to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers for renewal and expansion opportunities with strong technical backing
- Voice customer feedback on product enhancements, issues, and trends to Product and Engineering teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Contribute to developing onboarding best practices, playbooks, and training materials
- Contribute to streamlining internal processes for enhanced technical customer success
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Extensive hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience in handling technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in QA Test Automation or DevOps
- Expertise in functional, regression, UI testing with tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Former roles in a customer-facing technical capacity such as TAM, Support Engineer, or Solutions Engineer
- Background in Quality Engineering, Software Development, or DevOps
- Experience supporting clients across varying maturity levels and organizational structures
