We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Staff Front-End Engineer in the Wallet Experience business unit at Ledger. As a crucial member of the Live Hub squad, your primary responsibility will be participating in the development and upkeep of a UI kit utilized in Ledger Live and other associated products. Additionally, you will be involved in crafting new features for the Ledger Live wallet across both mobile and desktop platforms.
Your focus will involve closely collaborating with the Design Language System core team, designers, and developers from various departments to ensure a unified, expandable, and visually appealing user interface across multiple products.
Role Overview:
- Drive the integration of our Design Systems, collaborating cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product teams to construct reusable UI components.
- Champion the performance, accessibility, and usability of our Design Systems and applications.
- Represent your team in company-wide design system conversations.
- Participate in enhancing features on the Ledger Live wallet.
- Mentor Engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to our team's technical roadmap.
Profile Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
- Prior experience in developing a shared UI Kit across multiple teams, encompassing component libraries and design tokens.
- Proficient in Javascript, CSS, and React development with a strong testing background.
- Expertise in web accessibility standards, responsive, and adaptive design.
- Skilled in promoting consistency and reusability across products, thoroughly reviewing contributions, and challenging existing processes.
- Familiarity with Design System tools like Figma and Storybook.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and influencing technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
