Strategy Director (Hong Kong based)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our company as a Strategy Director and contribute significantly to our strategic decision-making processes. The right candidate should possess 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally from a strategy consulting background, display a strong interest in the crypto industry, and exhibit effective leadership skills. This position is based in Hong Kong, but candidates from other locations who can align with Hong Kong working hours are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans that are data-oriented and align with company objectives across various sectors of the crypto and fintech industries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic initiatives successfully.
• Provide recommendations on product pricing, monitor P&L for sustainable growth, and adjust pricing strategies when necessary.
• Conduct data analysis on user behaviors and products, identify trends or areas for improvement, and make actionable recommendations.
• Support strategic partnerships and investments as needed.
• Oversee and mentor junior members within the strategy team.
• Embody a strong sense of ownership and a "founder’s mentality."

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher education.
• Residency in Hong Kong or ability to work according to Hong Kong work hours (GMT+8).
• Keen interest in the blockchain/crypto industry, with familiarity in DeFi seen as an advantage.
• A solid background in a relevant field with 5-7 years of work experience, preferably from a management consulting environment, including team management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience (preferred but not required) with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analytics.
