Role Overview
We are looking for a Strategy Director to join our team and contribute significantly to our strategic decision-making process. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, a strong interest in crypto, and exceptional leadership skills. This position is located in Hong Kong, but candidates from other locations who can work within Hong Kong's time zone are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven strategic plans that align with the company's objectives in various segments of the crypto and fintech industries.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic initiatives.
- Provide recommendations on product pricing, analyze user and product data to identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure sustainable growth via P&L monitoring and adjustment of pricing strategies when necessary.
- Assist in exploring strategic partnerships and investments.
- Lead and guide junior members of the strategy team.
- Demonstrate a mindset akin to a company founder, showing strong ownership of tasks and initiatives.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Based in Hong Kong or capable of working during Hong Kong's business hours (GMT+8).
- Deep interest in blockchain and crypto, with knowledge of DeFi considered a significant advantage.
- Preferred experience of 5-7 years in relevant fields like management consulting, including team management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- (Optional) Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis purposes.
