Strategy Director (Hong Kong based)

Role Overview

We are in search of a Strategy Director to join our team and contribute significantly to our strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, such as in strategy consulting, a keen interest in the crypto sector, and strong leadership skills. This position is based in Hong Kong, but remote candidates who can adjust to Hong Kong working hours are also welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data-driven strategic plans aligned with company objectives in various sectors of the crypto and fintech industries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
• Provide recommendations on product pricing and monitor profitability to ensure sustainable growth, adjusting pricing strategies when necessary.
• Conduct data analysis on users and products, identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support strategic partnerships and investments as needed.
• Lead and guide junior members of the strategy team.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and a "founder's mentality."

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher education.
• Located in Hong Kong or able to work according to Hong Kong time zone (GMT+8).
• A keen interest in the blockchain/crypto industry, with a solid understanding of DeFi as a bonus.
• Preferably 5-7 years of experience in industries like management consulting, with team management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• Additional experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis is advantageous.
