*: We are assisting a rapidly expanding, venture-backed hardware-focused organization in their search for a Supply Chain Partnership Development professional. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding the company’s network of suppliers, OEM/ODM, and outsourced manufacturers.
This role transcends traditional supply chain operations by focusing on partnership strategy, commercial negotiations, and operational scalability. Your duties will involve identifying and securing strategic manufacturing and supply chain partners to propel the company’s growth in the next phase.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Spearhead business development endeavors pertaining to supply chain and manufacturing partnerships.
- Source, engage, and negotiate with OEM/ODM/strategic suppliers.
- Cultivate and extend an ecosystem of outsourced manufacturing and partners.
- Formulate a commercial partnership strategy for hardware manufacturing, including structuring, terms, and collaboration models.
- Enhance cost-efficiency, quality, and scalability in supply chain operations.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Finance departments to align on product specifications, cost structure, and business model assumptions.
- Develop long-term supplier relationship strategies beyond one-time purchases.
- Expand cross-border manufacturing and sourcing networks, particularly in Asia and globally.
What You Need:
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or manufacturing, with a strong commercial/business focus.
- Profound comprehension of hardware manufacturing supply chain ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience in negotiating OEM/ODM and outsourced manufacturing agreements.
- Strong business acumen along with proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify, assess, and pursue partnership opportunities within the supply chain ecosystem.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both spoken and written).
