In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mining systems. Collaborating with department heads, you will gather requirements and implement new systems to increase efficiency and productivity. You will manage user access and permissions, provide guidance and support to business users, and actively monitor for system issues. Additionally, you will work closely with IT and vendors to drive integrations, enhancements, and optimizations. Reporting to management will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert administrator for mining operations systems.
- Collect and document system requirements in collaboration with department heads.
- Lead the implementation of new systems to improve efficiency.
- Manage user access and permissions.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Provide hands-on support and project leadership to business users.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors on integrations and enhancements.
- Provide timely summaries and reports to management.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Background or experience in systems, operations, dashboards, inventory management, or warehouse management is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce well-written documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse team members.
- Adaptability and eagerness to take on new challenges.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of education on a year-for-year basis.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with systems such as ERP, HRIS, Warehouse Management, Safety Management, or Foreman is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
