Talent Team Lead, Product, Design, & Engineering
We are seeking a technical recruiter who is well-versed in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to lead our Protocols/Blockchain engineering teams. These teams are responsible for developing the financial infrastructure that enables secure interactions between institutions and various blockchain networks.
As the primary recruiter for these roles, you will be responsible for the entire recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, closing, and providing mentorship to other recruiters. Your role will involve hands-on execution and collaboration with the team to enhance pipeline strategies and closing techniques.
Candidates will be evaluated based on four key competencies: Technical Skills, Complexity and Impact of Work, Organizational Knowledge, and Communication and Influence.
Technical Skills:
- Take charge of end-to-end recruiting for technically challenging engineering positions.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract highly skilled and specialized talent in areas such as distributed systems, blockchain, and cryptography.
- Create and manage robust pipelines with measurable metrics and conduct experiments to enhance efficiency.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Independently manage high-stakes hiring processes with strong conversion rates.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and technical leads to refine interview processes and facilitate competitive offers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate any necessary changes or commitments.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Collaborate cross-functionally and adjust communication style according to different stakeholders.
- Build credibility with hiring managers through technical expertise.
- Maintain open communication with leadership regarding progress, obstacles, and feedback.
Communication and Influence:
- Accept feedback gracefully and provide constructive feedback to others.
- Mentor junior recruiters on best practices in pipeline development, technical skills matching, and closing strategies.
- Share successful tactics and help others replicate them.
Applicants should possess at least 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on crypto, fintech, or related fields. Experience hiring for technical roles and a proven track record of closing competitive candidates is essential. Ability to pitch equity effectively and mentor other recruiters is also desired.
While not mandatory, experience working in a crypto-native company or demonstrating familiarity with the talent landscape in this industry is a plus.
