Role Summary:
Seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to collaborate with a senior team, contributing to the definition and implementation of a data-centric product. The ideal candidate should possess a genuine interest in data, be adept at working with technical concepts, and be dedicated to creating efficient and reliable reporting products.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in specifying requirements and comprehending technical and data-related components.
- Take ownership of the product backlog by defining clear and structured tickets and maintaining alignment with business objectives.
- Function as a technical liaison, collaborating with engineers on architecture, data flows, and implementation considerations.
- Have a deep grasp of data pipelines, ETL processes, and user-driven data applications.
- Craft and review SQL queries to validate data and support analytical tasks.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for RESTful APIs and seamless integration with backend services and data platforms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using data platforms and BI tools, focusing on report quality and user-friendliness.
- Advocate for data consumers, guaranteeing that reports deliver accurate and actionable insights.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven track record as a Technical Product Manager/Product Manager in technical domains.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with engineering teams.
- Proficient in data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems.
- Competent in writing and validating SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and downstream data usage.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration best practices.
- Experience with BI tools or data warehouses like Snowflake.
- Skilled in backlog management, requirement definition, and prioritization.
- Agile in dealing with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Background in data analysis, analytics engineering, or data-focused roles transitioning into product management.
- Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
