Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee complex and extensive technology projects involving multiple teams and functions.
- Collaborate with development teams to estimate project scope, establish milestones, and allocate resources.
- Drive project outcomes by coordinating efforts across teams from initial design to final implementation.
- Monitor project progress, address interdependencies, assess risks, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and track performance metrics for project objectives and make informed decisions based on data analysis.
- Coordinate technology initiatives with business feature releases, ensuring alignment of technical and business priorities.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of documentation tailored to various audiences, such as production support materials and API documentation.
- Enhance deployment processes and promote knowledge sharing practices to empower team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing projects within a software applications environment.
- Thorough understanding of software development, system architecture, and infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies, with Scrum Master experience being advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different business units.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adeptness in aligning diverse groups towards a common objective.
- Outstanding interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in organizing meetings effectively and summarizing key information.
- Ability to establish effective processes and drive automation initiatives.
- Skilled in acquiring and disseminating knowledge within teams for presentation to varied audiences.
- Fluency in verbal and written English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a bonus.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence tools.
- Preferably possess certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSM, or ACP.
