Technical Project Manager APAC (Node Operator / Restaking systems/ AVSs)

We are a dedicated team focused on driving enterprise and developer access and development on decentralized systems worldwide. Specializing in various domains such as Ethereum and Starknet protocol engineering, decentralized finance (DeFi), cryptography, security auditing, and smart contract development, we collaborate with prominent organizations like Ethereum Foundation, Starknet Foundation, and others.

We currently comprise a remote workforce of nearly 200 individuals from over 45 countries.

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to join us in overseeing Ethereum validator systems and Eigenlayer AVSs for restaking solutions. As a core member of the Nethermind team, you will be responsible for managing Nethermind Node Operator services, leading a team across different time zones, streamlining operations, automating tasks, and enhancing system efficiency. Moreover, maintaining continuous communication with both internal and external stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met timely and transparently.
• Facilitate team productivity by identifying and eliminating blockers, encouraging seamless project delivery.
• Maintain effective communication channels within the team and with stakeholders to uphold clarity and professionalism.
• Monitor project progress to ensure client expectations are met within established timelines and budgets, while fostering high-quality outputs.
• Supervise and manage the maintenance of production systems, including Ethereum validators and other applications.
• Mobilize incident response mechanisms to swiftly resolve issues and manage on-call rotations for off-hours responses.
• Employ container orchestration technologies for optimizing infrastructure costs and enhancing resource efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and best practices to uphold consistency and quality.
• Drive automation strategies to minimize manual tasks and enhance infrastructure management through Terraform and CI/CD implementation.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in project planning, goal setting, backlog grooming, and stakeholder management.
• Consistent engagement with project teams for continuous improvement and effective reporting.
• Expertise in facilitating transparent project updates and report sharing with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in hiring, staffing, and managing project financials to align with team goals.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, contribute to product roadmap initiatives, and conduct regular team meetings for progress tracking.
• Familiarity with project management best practices to identify and mitigate risks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of infrastructure, deployment strategies, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Ethereum Roadmap and Liquid Staking Protocols.
• Familiarity with financial market principles and the Software Development Life Cycle.

Location/Timezone:

This position requires working within the GMT+8 timezone, with a standard schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM GMT+8. Flexibility is available for a shift start time 2 hours earlier or later.
