Technical Project Manager, Exchange

The team responsible for the exchange platform is seeking individuals to oversee the development and maintenance of a state-of-the-art trading system. This team operates globally in APAC, EMEA, and North America, striving to enhance the trading experience for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Manage large-scale technology projects from inception to execution, coordinating efforts across various teams and functions effectively.
• Drive Project Execution: Monitor project progress, address dependencies, manage risks, and update project stakeholders regularly to ensure successful project completion.
• Empower Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to define project scopes, set milestones, allocate resources efficiently, and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Establish and monitor key metrics for initiatives to guide strategic decisions and evaluate project success using data insights.
• Orchestrate Tech & Business Alignment: Align technology projects with business objectives, coordinating teams to prioritize technical and business needs effectively.
• High-Quality Documentation: Help in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including support playbooks and API guides, for diverse audiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software project management, preferably with knowledge of crypto trading or exchange platforms.
• Profound knowledge of software development life cycles, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with experience as a Scrum Master considered a plus.
• Sound understanding of API and FIX protocol usage in trading environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to align various groups towards common objectives.
• Experience in process improvement and automation with a proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is advantageous.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
