Transaction Monitoring Analyst

We are on the lookout for meticulous and perceptive Transaction Monitoring Analysts to join our steadily expanding team. As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a critical role in upholding the integrity and security of transactions on our platform by continuously monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on transaction activities. Your responsibilities will involve detecting and preventing fraudulent activities, investigating anomalies in transaction patterns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer activities to identify potential risks like money laundering
• Investigate alerted transactions utilizing a risk-based approach and internal guidelines
• Evaluate customer behavior and profiles to determine the need for further investigation
• Probe into irregular on-chain and off-chain transactions
• Employ blockchain analytical tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc., for transaction screening
• Develop comprehensive reports summarizing unusual activity and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in AML/CTF transaction monitoring, preferably in a fintech or cryptocurrency domain
• Experience of at least 1 year in AML/fraud investigations, particularly within fintech, is advantageous
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology is highly beneficial
• Proficiency in using blockchain monitoring and analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Skilled in conducting risk assessments, periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence
• Strong analytical skills with a background in compliance functions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment with ambiguity
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to goal achievement
• Proficient in developing efficient tools and solutions
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to providing value-added services to stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and exercise sound business judgment
• Proficiency in English (oral and written); additional language skills are advantageous
• Competent in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications
