UX Researcher - Exchange, Trading Experience
Our Product Management team drives product initiatives from conception through implementation, achieving impacts and launching products/features globally. We closely collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other team members to introduce outstanding features and products.
We seek a UX Researcher with a deep understanding of design excellence and trading. Situated within a product team that prioritizes craft, your research will directly influence trading interfaces utilized by professionals globally. This role requires design proficiency to assess interface quality, trading expertise (or interest) to converse credibly with power users, and robust research skills to reveal insights guiding decisions.

- Proficiency in Figma, analyzing prototypes, and offering constructive design feedback
- Understanding of information hierarchy, cognitive load, interaction patterns, and visual design
- Experience witnessing research directly enhance product design, not solely confirming assumptions

- Genuine curiosity about trading and motivation to become a domain expert
- Quick learning aptitude able to communicate effectively with professional traders post onboarding
- Acknowledgment that researching professional tools necessitates distinct approaches from consumer apps
- Willingness to learn trading concepts hands-on (like order books, limit orders, technical indicators)
- Respect for power users expecting high standards – previous experience researching for them is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage research studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys) to grasp trader needs and behaviors
- Evaluate design quality through heuristic assessments, usability tests, and expert evaluations
- Transform findings into actionable insights influencing product decisions and enhancing UX
- Collaborate with designers to test prototypes early, ensuring superior product releases
- Present research findings to cross-functional teams and endorse user empathy throughout the organization
- Establish research operations, recruit participants, and develop best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of UX research experience (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or complex B2B products)
- Deep knowledge of design principles and capacity to assess interface quality
- Strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrated through portfolios/case studies
- Inclination for learning and adaptability – capable of swiftly becoming a domain expert
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (HCI, Psychology, Design, Cognitive Science) or equivalent experience
