Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, you will assume a crucial role in enhancing the adoption and utilization of Circle-issued stablecoins (USDC and EURC) within the Crypto Capital Market and Traditional Finance (TradFi) landscapes.

Through leadership of a global team of Business Development and Relationship Managers, you will establish, implement, and cultivate strategic alliances with key players such as market makers, over-the-counter desks, trading and investment entities, asset managers, hedge funds, and clearinghouses.

Collaborating closely with other leaders in Circle's Business and Product teams, your focus will be on surpassing growth objectives for Circle-issued stablecoins. This involves ensuring seamless availability and economical accessibility across major global regions through partnerships with both global and regional over-the-counter (OTC) platforms, trading venues, and wholesale distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Draw upon your profound expertise and holistic comprehension of the Crypto Capital Market and TradFi scenes to structure and execute commercial agreements that boost stablecoin distribution and enable applications like instant FX, secondary market trading, and institutional settlement credits.
  • Team Management and Leadership: Take charge of the recruitment, training, guidance, and construction of a world-class Business Development and Relationship Management team.
  • Pipeline Development and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to cultivate an expanding portfolio of regional and global partners within TradFi and Crypto Capital Markets sectors.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in capital markets, trading, and investment domains.
  • At least 10 years of establishing and guiding successful sales and business development teams.
  • A minimum of 10 years of vending Crypto/Web3, Fintech, and/or technology products.
  • Empirical involvement in scaling a business segment to billions in transaction volume and tens of millions in net revenue, consequently impacting a company’s valuation significantly.
  • Proficient comprehension of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a track record in recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of employees.
  • Excellent pipeline management capabilities and revenue projection proficiencies.
  • Passion for laying foundational groundwork in initial stages of development. An eagerness to contribute to enhancing corporate processes, work at a rapid pace, establish enduring frameworks, and bolster customer prosperity.

Additional Details:

  • This role is eligible for immediate PERM sponsorship for suitable candidates.
  • Compensation considerations are subject to diverse factors, including relevant experience, competencies, credentials, and organizational requirements. Compensation ranges may vary based on the candidate's location.
  • Base Pay Range: $292,500 - $335,000
  • Annual Bonus Target: 40%
  • Additional Benefits: Equity and various benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. Circle follows a discretionary vacation policy, offering 10 days of paid sick leave annually and observing 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
