What You'll Be Responsible For:

As a direct report to the Chief Business Officer, you will undertake a pivotal role in scaling the exposure and adoption of Circle-issued stablecoins (USDC and EURC) within both the Crypto Capital Market and Traditional Finance (TradFi) ecosystems.

Leading a diverse global team of Business Development and Relationship Managers, you will establish, execute, and nurture strategic alliances with key stakeholders, such as market makers, OTC desks, trading and investing institutions, asset managers, hedge funds, clearinghouses, and other relevant entities.

Collaborating closely with other Business and Product leaders within Circle, your primary objective will be meeting growth targets for Circle-issued stablecoins. This involves ensuring they are easily accessible and cost-effective across major regions worldwide, achieved through global and local OTC, trading, and wholesale distribution partners.

What You'll Work On:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Leveraging your extensive experience and in-depth insight into the Crypto Capital Market and TradFi ecosystems to devise and actualize commercial agreements that enhance stablecoin distribution and enable diverse use cases.
  • Managing and Leading a high-velocity team: Tasked with recruitment, training, mentorship, and the development of a first-class Business Development and Relationship Management team.

Developing and forecasting a metrics-driven pipeline: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish a growing network of regional and global partners across TradFi and Crypto Capital Markets ecosystems.

What You'll Bring to Circle:

  • Over 15 years of experience in capital markets, trading, and investment sectors.
  • Successfully built and led high-performance sales and business development teams for over 10 years.
  • More than 10 years of experience in selling Crypto/Web3, Fintech, and/or technology products.
  • A track record of scaling business segments to substantial transaction volume and revenue, significantly impacting your company's valuation.
  • In-depth professional knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.
  • Strong leadership skills, proven through the ability to consistently recruit, onboard, and train employees effectively.
  • Proven expertise in pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to early-stage growth, actively engaging in improving company procedures, and thriving in a fast-paced environment to drive customer success.

Additional Information:

This position offers day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates. Compensation ranges and packages are determined based on various criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, and organizational requirements. Salary figures may vary by location.

Total Compensation Range:

  • Base Pay Range: $292,500 - $335,000
  • Annual Bonus Target: 40%
  • Benefits: Equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
