About the Opportunity
The individual in this role will focus on fostering the growth of the Kadena ecosystem by engaging in strategic planning and making well-considered decisions. Collaborating closely with the Business Development and Strategy teams, staying informed on current and future developments within Kadena, and translating this knowledge into clear, actionable business and strategic roadmaps are key responsibilities. The aim is to elevate Kadena and its ecosystem to a significant position in the cryptocurrency space.
The ideal candidate should familiarize themselves with existing Kadena processes and organizational culture to uphold and promote these values throughout the ecosystem. As new projects emerge, there may be a need to concentrate on the growth, management, and scaling of associated companies. These initiatives may involve ecosystem investment endeavors and other strategic prospects that demand the direct involvement or staffing of Kadena staff.

How You'll Make An Impact
- Engage directly with Kadena's leadership to refine business strategies
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive Business Development department budget
- Supervise the Kadena grants program, targeting annual grants exceeding $10 million
- Develop and manage crucial partnerships for Kadena
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and train Business Development team members to ensure goal achievement in lead generation and opportunity qualification
- Foster and maintain robust relationships while actively pursuing new business prospects
- Address any emerging operational or business needs within Kadena or affiliated companies
- Collaborate with the marketing department for community and communication purposes
- Work alongside the engineering department for technical assessments of grants and partnerships

What Sets You Apart
- 5+ years of financial and/or business development experience
- 5+ years of experience in complex business operations and planning

Responsibilities
Promote awareness of the UTOPOS ecosystem.
Introduce individuals, communities, and businesses to UTOP.
Build relationships with blockchain communities, influencers, and strategic partners.
Generate qualified leads for partnerships and business opportunities.
Identify merchant adoption opportunities.
Assist with community growth across social media and Web3 platforms.
Represent UTOPOS professionally in online and offline communities.
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity.
Representatives earn commissions in UTOP based on qualified business generated for the UTOPOS ecosystem. Commission terms will be provided during onboarding and are paid only after qualifying milestones have been successfully completed.
