VP, Risk System Engineer

The exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining an innovative trading platform that spans across various regions. They strive to offer clients a smooth and secure trading experience.

We are looking for a skilled risk system engineer to join our risk department and aid in managing risk for the Derivatives North America (CDNA) Exchange and Clearing business.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designing and implementing enterprise risk systems and databases, including risk models, engines, and related applications.
• Optimize code implementation for core algorithms and pricing functions.
• Collaborate with risk quants, managers, IT operations, and security teams to enhance the risk system.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new product launches and client onboarding.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise systems in the financial sector.
• Direct experience in enterprise risk system design and development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and GitHub.
• Knowledge of Kafka messaging, AWS cloud computing, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse and Postgres database management is a plus.
• Basic understanding of derivatives such as Futures, Options, and Swaps.
• Strong oral communication and documentation skills.
• Enthusiasm for both crypto innovations and traditional finance.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently towards strategic goals.
