Android App Developer Needed to Recreate Windows Application

We are seeking an experienced freelance Android developer to create an Android application based on an existing Windows desktop program. The mobile application will be relatively simple in structure, requiring a single Activity. The goal is to replicate the core functionality and overall UI/UX style of the Windows application while adapting it appropriately for a mobile environment. The developer is also expected to provide usability insights and identify any potential issues or inconsistencies during the development process.
Responsibilities
Develop an Android application that reflects the functionality of the existing Windows program.
Recreate the UI/UX of the Windows application in a mobile-optimized format (not necessarily pixel-perfect, but aligned in style and structure).
Provide UI/UX improvement suggestions where mobile-specific adjustments would enhance the user experience.
Identify and report potential bugs, usability issues, or inconsistencies found during development or testing.
Ensure application performance, stability, and overall quality.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Android development (Kotlin or Java).
Experience working with Android Studio and REST API integration.
Ability to analyze an existing software interface and translate it into a mobile-friendly design.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills for reporting issues and proposing improvements.
