Freelance Blockchain Developer
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Blockchain Developer to support the development of a Web3 stablecoin payment and merchant-settlement platform.
This is a remote, project-based contract role. You will work with our team to build secure smart contracts, integrate wallets, and develop core payment functionality.
Responsibilities
Develop and test Solidity smart contracts for stablecoin payment and settlement features
Integrate EVM-compatible blockchain networks and ERC-20 tokens
Build wallet-connect and transaction-signing functionality using MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar tools
Develop backend APIs for transaction tracking, payment requests, and status updates
Support frontend integration using React, Next.js, or similar technologies
Write clean, documented, and well-tested code
Identify and address smart-contract security risks and technical issues
Collaborate remotely through GitHub, Slack, Notion, Jira, or similar tools
Provide regular progress updates and deliver agreed project milestones on time
Requirements
Demonstrated experience with Solidity and EVM-compatible blockchains
Experience with Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js, viem, or web3.js
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills
Experience with ERC-20 tokens, wallet integration, and transaction lifecycle handling
Understanding of smart-contract security, access controls, testing, and code reviews
Experience with React or Next.js is preferred
Good English communication and ability to work independently
A GitHub profile, portfolio, or examples of relevant blockchain work
