About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to Vault, an open-source, self-hosted secrets management platform.
Our goal is to build a secure, developer-first platform that enables organizations to store, manage, and deliver sensitive credentials such as API keys, access tokens, passwords, certificates, and encryption keys with strong security and centralized access control.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Go.
- Build secure REST APIs for secret management.
- Implement encrypted secret storage (AES-256-GCM).
- Develop authentication, authorization, and policy-based access control.
- Integrate PostgreSQL for persistent storage.
- Build audit logging and security monitoring features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Go (Golang).
- Experience designing RESTful APIs.
- PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Docker and Git.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure software design.
- Experience with cryptography, infrastructure security, or DevOps is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management platforms.
- Kubernetes experience.
- Knowledge of PKI, TLS, or certificate management.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
