4. Growth Product Manager
We are in search of a professional with approximately 3 years of experience as a Growth Product Manager to spearhead user research, product enhancement, and strategic growth projects. This role involves analyzing a blend of qualitative and quantitative data, crafting and conducting research activities, and devising data-informed strategies for bolstering user retention and engagement. As a key member of our dynamic team, your efforts will play a pivotal role in shaping the product experience and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
User Research Design and Implementation
Plan and execute user interviews, surveys, and feedback collection methods to acquire qualitative insights, comprehend user requirements, motivations, and pain points.
Develop targeted user testing to solicit valuable feedback from specific user segments or feature sets.
Data Compilation and Analysis
Define essential data metrics and an analytical structure to ensure the precision and completeness of product and user data.
Analyze user actions and preferences using a blend of quantitative data (e.g., usage data, conversion rates) and qualitative insights.
Utilize fundamental analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) for data gathering and analysis to pinpoint key user experience issues.
Strategy Formulation for Optimization
Formulate practical product optimization strategies based on user research discoveries and behavioral data, such as feature refinements, UI enhancements, and onboarding flow enhancements.
Recognize prime avenues for product enhancements and bolster the product team with data-backed insights to boost user retention and engagement.
User Testing and Feedback Collection
Regularly conduct user tests and accumulate feedback to authenticate optimization strategies.
Monitor core progression indicators (e.g., retention rates, conversion rates) and adapt product strategies continuously guided by data insights.
Cross-Functional Cooperation
Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research insights and feedback into actionable product enhancements.
Relay user requirements and insights to the product development unit to ensure product design resonates with user expectations and demands.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin for verbal communication (written proficiency not mandatory)
- Experience in a rapidly-growing startup
- Knowledge of growth hacking strategies and growth loops.
- Fundamental grasp of UX/UI principles and user-centric design.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data science, or a related realm.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in growth product management, product management, or an associated position, preferably within a startup or tech environment.
- Profound analytical capabilities with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Proficiency with A/B testing, growth metrics, and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, SQL).
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods encompassing user interviews and surveys.
- Exceptional communication competencies and adeptness at effective team collaboration.
- Proficiency in creative problem-solving, adaptability, and a mindset geared towards growth.
