Account Director, Strategic Accounts
Job Summary
As a dedicated Account Director for Strategic Accounts, your primary focus will be on expanding HealthVerity's presence within key strategic accounts based in the Chicago region. Your responsibilities will include identifying prospects, generating qualified opportunities, securing new business, and nurturing relationships with important clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to enhance HealthVerity's position in designated accounts by consistently identifying ways to meet clients' needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Meeting or exceeding targets for net new sales and renewals as a percentage of quota.
- Managing opportunities, including utilizing SFDC for tracking and supporting various processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborating with multiple departments, such as SE's, RWDs, and pricing teams, to drive solutions for clients.
- Strengthening existing relationships with key stakeholders within different business units.
- Maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline in SFDC.
- Engaging stakeholders for key revenue-generating brands and drug development initiatives.
- Leading meetings and identifying new opportunities within key accounts.
- Developing strategies tailored to client accounts to capitalize on synergies and drive growth opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ability to address clients' crucial business challenges using data and technology.
- Success in building a robust pipeline of business and achieving annual revenue targets.
- Skill in managing client relationships from initial contact to implementation stages.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in selling healthcare data research assets, such as medical claims and lab data.
- Proficient understanding of the generation and applications of various healthcare data types.
- Experienced in consultative selling across different areas including HEOR and Commercial sectors.
- Ability to articulate the value of software, technology, and data effectively.
- Knowledge of the commercial pharmaceutical SaaS landscape.
- Successful track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships within the Top Pharma segment, specifically in the Midwest region.
The base salary for this role is competitive and can range between $81,000 to $150,000, along with additional incentive compensation.
Preferred Locations for Hiring
While our primary preference is to onboard team members in Philadelphia, remote work is supported from key hub locations such as Boston, New York City, Baltimore, Washington D.C, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and Atlanta. Remote work is also viable in approved states within the Eastern Time Zone.
Approved States in the Eastern Time Zone: CT, DE, FL, GA, IN, MA, MD, MI NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, and VA.
