The Context
Kieran McLoughlin has navigated the highest levels of traditional finance as the former Head of the Central Bank of Ireland. Today, as Managing Partner at Astralis, he is at the frontier of Web3 investment. We are looking for a unique individual to bridge these two worlds: someone who understands the rigor of institutional finance but lives and breathes the decentralized future.
​This isn't a traditional "admin" role. This is a high-bandwidth, high-stakes position for a Web3 native who can act as a technical filter, a marketing scout, and a strategic executor.
​The Mission
​Technical Intelligence: You are the "eyes" on-chain. You’ll be responsible for vetting protocols, testing dApps, and analyzing tokenomics. You should be able to break down a complex ZK-rollup or liquid staking architecture into a concise briefing.
​Marketing & Alpha Hunting: You live on X (Twitter), Farcaster, and in closed Discord research groups. You identify emerging meta-narratives before they hit the mainstream. You understand why a community thrives and how a project builds its "moat" through marketing.
​Strategic Operations: Managing the flow of a Managing Partner’s world. This includes coordinating with founders of top-tier Web3 projects, preparing materials for the Investment Committee, and ensuring Kieran’s digital and technical stack is always optimized.
​Executive Presence: You will represent the office of the Managing Partner. You must be able to switch from degen-speak in a Telegram chat to professional discourse with institutional LPs.

​On-Chain Native: You have a DeBank profile that tells a story. You’ve bridged, swapped, provided liquidity, and perhaps been "rugged" once or twice. You don’t just read about crypto; you use it daily.
​Technical Literacy: You understand the difference between consensus layers and execution layers. You can read a smart contract (at least the basics) and understand the implications of governance proposals.
​Marketing Intuition: You know what "good" looks like in Web3. You can distinguish between organic community growth and paid bot engagement.

About the Role: 
The Accountant will be responsible for handling the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations for subsidiaries of the Bitcastle Group. You will perform bookkeeping tasks, prepare financial reports, and support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.
Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities within Bitcastle Group
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management review
Assist in the preparation of group financial consolidation reports
Prepare tax filing documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
Prepare cashflow management reports and perform bank reconciliation
Perform crypto wallet and exchange reconciliation
Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely
Support profit and loss reporting and basic financial analysis
Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes
Prepare financial data required for transfer pricing documentation
 
Collaborate with the Finance team to identify accounting issues and propose solutions
Coordinate with the data team to ensure accuracy of automated reports capturing revenue, expenses, and cryptocurrency balances
Requirements: 
Min N2 Japanese language proficiency
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience handling full set accounts
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet
Preferred Qualification:
Experience in crypto or forex industry
Tech-savvy and comfortable with adopting new technologies

About the Role: 
We are looking for a Fraud Monitoring Executive to join the Bitcastle team. In this role, you will manage and oversee fraud monitoring processes to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities and unusual transaction patterns within our forex trading platform. You will ensure timely review and escalation of fraud alerts, maintain compliance with internal standards, and support reporting to management for effective risk management.
Manage and oversee scenarios embedded in the Fraud Monitoring System and fraud risk indicators to monitor internal and external activities for fraudulent behavior and unusual transaction patterns
Ensure fraud monitoring processes comply with the company's code of conduct and adhere to the highest standards of ethics
Conduct timely reviews of fraud alerts and ensure proper escalation and closure through the appropriate channels
Prepare periodic reports for management on the results of fraud monitoring, including corrective actions taken
Use monitoring results and evaluations to standardize fraud monitoring processes and highlight risks noted during reviews to report them to relevant business units
Requirements: 
At least 2-3 years of working experience in fraud monitoring, investigations, or compliance
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving

Relevant certifications in analytical techniques, fraud investigation, or decision-making

Position Overview

The Senior Credit Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credit risk operations for the firm's investment platform, with a primary focus on OTC derivatives, structured products, and marginable securities. This role entails establishing robust credit frameworks, managing margin and collateral practices, enhancing credit risk analytics, and facilitating scalable growth across the platform's securities and derivatives network.

The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with a profound understanding of counterparty credit risk, product structuring, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance in global markets while having comprehensive technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy

Develop and implement the overall credit risk strategy for OTC products, derivatives, and margin finance activities.

Build and lead an efficient Credit Specialist team as the business expands, comprising analysts, modelers, and credit approval officers.

Collaborate with business leadership to uphold robust risk standards during product expansion.

2. Credit Risk Framework & Governance

Establish and uphold comprehensive credit risk policies covering counterparty credit assessments, margin and collateral frameworks, stress testing, and more.

Supervise credit limit settings, monitoring processes, approval workflows, and escalation protocols.

3. OTC & Derivatives Credit Oversight

Lead credit evaluation and approval for complex OTC products like options, forwards, structured derivatives, and marginable securities.

Assess counterparty exposures utilizing various models and refine collateral optimization strategies.

4. Margin, Collateral & Liquidity Management

Manage margin methodologies and supervise margin call, liquidation, and client-level risk monitoring processes.

Drive the modernization of collateral management systems, margin engines, and exposure analytics.

5. Risk Technology & Data

Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Data teams to build real-time exposure dashboards, stress-testing engines, margin calculators, and more.

Advocate for automation and machine-learning-driven credit insights.

6. Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

Ensure alignment with global regulatory frameworks and timely reporting of exposures.

Engage with regulators, auditors, and internal compliance teams as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Possess 10-15+ years of experience in credit risk, derivatives, structured products, or risk management within a financial setting.

Deep expertise in OTC derivatives valuation, collateral rules, counterparty exposure modeling, and strong leadership skills.

Preferred

Experience integrating credit risk capabilities in a digital or investment platform environment.

Familiarity with margin engines, risk technology stack, and automation tools.
