Responsibilities
- Handling general ledger activities and overseeing end-to-end month-end closing tasks, including manual journal entries
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations, resolving variances promptly
- Compiling internal management reports and monthly financial reporting packages for management review
- Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborating with tax advisors on corporate income tax returns and other tax compliance matters
- Contributing to process enhancements, system improvements, and finance transformation projects, including automation of manual processes
- Assisting in streamlining and stabilizing legacy accounting processes with proper documentation and controls
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements, maintaining thorough supporting documentation and controls
- Supporting various ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives assigned by the Financial Controller
Requirements
- Must have Chartered Accountant experience (CPA/CA/ACCA)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounting and finance
- Preference for experience in tech/MNC handling full PnL
- Proficiency in advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite accounting systems
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at collaborating in a team setting
