Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in US GAAP standards to manage operational accounting, detailed analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger reporting.
- Develop efficient and automated processes for financial reporting and analytics.
- Work closely with the Controller and external accounting teams to transition operations in-house.
- Assess and enhance internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Optimize documented accounting policies and procedures, implementing effective controls to minimize risks.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights into financial performance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, and other departments.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with a degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- CPA certification preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in Public Accounting (Big4 background is advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in technical accounting standards like ASC 606, 840, 842, and 820.
- Previous exposure to SaaS and/or Web3 industries.
- Ability to simplify complex financial data and offer guidance to colleagues.
