Summary

The Assistant Manager position entails providing support to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and collaborating with the HR team to implement both tactical and strategic solutions to enhance the overall employee experience and workforce efficiency within a rapidly changing environment. Reporting to the Senior Director of HRBP & Projects, the role requires strong communication and presentation skills coupled with a creative approach to HRBP strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the HRBP team to offer a proactive, business-oriented HR service that bolsters employee experience and engagement.
  • Assist HRBPs in understanding business needs and trends for supporting the business through Strategic People Initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for gathering functional requirements and transforming them into polished presentation materials.
  • Liaise with regional HR and HR Services teams to consolidate employee feedback and provide recommendations for HR senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and manage HR projects and events effectively.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to prepare regular HR reports for stakeholders.
  • Support various ad-hoc assignments and projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a dynamic, growth-oriented setting.
  • Demonstrate exceptional storytelling abilities through compelling PowerPoint design and presentation skills that engage audiences effectively.
  • Exhibit a creative and tech-savvy mindset, willing to challenge norms and assumptions.
  • Showcase strong business and HR knowledge, including adept problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Display strong organizational skills, self-initiative, and enthusiasm.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
