Position Overview
As a Content Development Specialist, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance Keyfactor's internal Knowledge Management strategy. Your role will involve improving the accessibility, organization, and quality of internal knowledge resources to empower employees with the information necessary for driving business success.
Responsibilities
Support and Enhance Knowledge Management:
- Develop, publish, and maintain best practices, processes, and procedures for Knowledge Management (KM).
- Monitor KM practices adherence and report on workforce engagement.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continual improvement in KM processes.
- Engage in discussions with key stakeholders to bolster KM initiatives.
- Enhance KM training to ensure effective employee adoption and advocacy for KM policies.
Manage Internal Knowledge Repositories and Resources:
- Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team to enhance the quality and accessibility of internal knowledge resources.
- Work with owners of various internal repositories to improve content consistency across platforms.
Support Business and Knowledge Management Goals:
- Align content development efforts with Knowledge Management objectives and Keyfactor's strategic goals.
- Promote employee value by addressing needs promptly and supporting business progress.
Champion Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration:
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration among employees, encouraging active participation in KM initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
This role involves a limited level of authority, focusing on executing assigned duties, following established procedures, and making recommendations within their area of expertise, while seeking guidance for significant actions or changes. The ability to fulfill job responsibilities successfully requires:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with content creation and coordination.
- Experience leading content projects and supporting content strategy.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and audience engagement techniques.
- Introductory experience with LRM systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in using content management systems and SEO tools.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage content projects independently.
- Capacity to lead and mentor junior team members.
- Ability to ensure timely content delivery and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of applying SEO best practices to enhance content performance.
