Backend Engineer

Our primary projects include blockchain-based digital collectibles platforms such as Disney Pinnacle, NBA Top Shot, and NFL All Day. We are in need of a Backend Engineer who is results-oriented and passionate about growth to enhance our server-side infrastructure. Your role involves advancing our systems for scalability and optimization while introducing innovative features in sports and other sectors. You will be a key player in a lively, fast-paced setting, deploying to a global audience and exploring new frontiers in blockchain and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain resilient backend services and APIs.
• Ensure the scalability and security of backend systems by optimizing performance.
• Integrate server-side logic with blockchain technologies for handling high-volume transactions.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, making necessary optimizations.
• Produce and manage technical documentation related to system architecture and processes.
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams and other technical departments to create unified solutions.
• Address complex technical challenges and contribute to all development phases.
• Focus on achieving high performance and responsiveness to frontend requests.
• Manage database interactions and data flow within the server environment.
• Utilize version control tools like Git for collaboration and versioning.

Desired Skills:

• Proficient in backend development with expertise in server-side languages like GoLang or NodeJS.
• Well-versed in managing server environments following scalable architecture principles.
• Experienced in Agile development practices and collaborating within dynamic teams.
