Overview
Our client, a publicly listed corporation based in China, is a prominent OEM/ODM manufacturer specializing in telecommunications equipment and applications. They hold a top 2 ranking in the industry and are embarking on a strategic expansion into international markets. As part of this initiative, they are searching for an adept Sales Leader situated in the United States to drive business growth in the US market.
Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities for Switch/EAP products within the enterprise market in North America.
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to expand the enterprise product business.
- Assess customer requirements and convert them into viable sales and business prospects.
- Coordinate technical support for demonstrations, proof of concepts, evaluations, training, etc.
- Direct and assist in collaborative sales endeavors to enhance designated product lines.
- Compile market and account intelligence reports for informed decision-making by the leadership.
- Proactively address customer needs and implement a sales strategy to establish the organization as the preferred technical vendor.
- Cultivate productive relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to ensure the fulfillment of assigned business objectives, budgets, and sales quotas.
- Responsively handle and secure all Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Request for Information (RFIs) in conjunction with relevant internal teams.
- Engage in continuous learning by actively interacting with the products.
- Partake in internal overseas video/mobile conference meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, engineering, or computer science is essential; an MBA is highly desirable.
- More than 8 years of experience in Telecommunications, Broadband Networking, and Wireless industries.
- Profound understanding of the US Enterprise market, particularly with Switch/EAP products.
- Established network with US Enterprise Network Product Suppliers/Vendors.
- Previous work involvement with Asian electronic ODMs.
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities, diligence, and meticulousness.
- Proficient in negotiation and decision-making.
- Proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales and business development targets.
