Job Summary
Chainlink Labs is looking for a Business Operations Senior Manager to join our Engineering Business Operations team. The ideal candidate should have a track record in senior engineering operations, possess strong analytical capabilities, and be adept at fostering relationships with senior Engineering Managers and Product Managers. This role involves acting as a bridge between the SVP of Engineering and various stakeholders, to drive projects focusing on engineering productivity, risk management, project delivery, and competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress on key engineering projects quarterly, ensuring timely identification of risks and adherence to project timelines.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal engineering emergencies, effectively managing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance and track engineering productivity, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Track progress on quarterly engineering deliverables, ensuring projects remain on schedule.
- Document best engineering practices and competitive insights to enable informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships to drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in senior engineering operations, with a proven ability to establish rapport with senior EMs and PMs.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of dissecting complex questions, analyzing data, and providing recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand intricate business challenges and offer practical solutions.
- Comfortable working closely with C-suite executives.
- Preferably, a basic understanding of the Web3 ecosystem and blockchain technology.
- Experience in a mid to late-stage startup is desirable.
- Familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem and proficiency in modern technologies like EVM vs. Non-EVM and deploying to Mainnet is a plus.
- Knowledge of Solidity programming is an advantage.
