Cryptographer (TSS/MPC)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cryptographer proficient in Threshold Signature Schemes (TSS) and Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to become part of our team. As a Cryptographer, you will focus on creating and reviewing cryptographic algorithms and protocols. Working alongside security specialists, software developers, and product managers, you will ensure that our systems are safeguarded against potential security threats like attacks and data breaches.

Responsibilities:

1. Devise, implement, and maintain cryptographic algorithms and protocols with a foundation in TSS and MPC.
2. Stay informed on the latest developments in cryptographic technology through ongoing research and incorporate relevant advancements when required.
3. Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into existing products or develop new ones.
4. Liaise with software developers to guarantee the correct application and fusion of cryptographic algorithms into software systems.
5. Identify potential vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems and propose solutions to mitigate associated risks.
6. Perform security assessments and penetration testing to pinpoint and address probable weaknesses in cryptographic systems.
7. Construct and update documentation on cryptographic protocols and implementations.
8. Contribute to establishing security policies and standards within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Mathematics, Cryptography, Computer Science, or similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of cryptography experience, with a specialization in TSS and MPC.
• Profound comprehension of cryptographic algorithms and protocols like RSA, ECC, AES, and SHA.
• Hands-on experience in creating and integrating cryptographic solutions for enterprise-level systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices and standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and FIPS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical aptitude.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Details: The average compensation for this position ranges from $140,000 to $240,000 USD per year, with additional incentives such as equity, annual performance bonuses, and the mentioned benefits varying based on your role level and location.
