We are seeking an exceptional candidate who specializes in cryptography research and has published in top cryptography, security, or blockchain conferences/journals. The ideal candidate will excel in working as part of a distributed research team, effectively communicate research ideas, and provide compelling arguments supported by security proofs. We value candidates who are confident in expressing their opinions and are eager to learn and discuss unfamiliar concepts.
Responsibilities
As a cryptography researcher, you will contribute to ongoing cryptographic research on topics such as:
- Zero-knowledge proofs, particularly zkSNARKs, zkSTARKs, folding schemes, and lookup arguments
- Threshold encryption and signature schemes
- Witness encryption
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cryptographic primitives, including threshold signatures, zero-knowledge proofs, folding schemes, lookup arguments, and witness encryption
- Excellent ability to articulate thoughts precisely
Nice to Have
- Engineering skills to create proof-of-concept implementations of developed protocols
