Job Summary As a Data Analytics Engineer at Flipster, you will play a crucial role in bridging the realms of data engineering and analytics. Your main task will be to transform data into valuable insights that enhance the organization's knowledge of the business landscape and facilitate critical decision-making processes. Collaborating with data analysts, business analysts, and cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing scalable data models, optimizing queries, and building robust data pipelines to support analytical workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines and models to sustain reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics in the GCP BigQuery ecosystem
- Improve SQL queries and data processing logic to enhance both performance and cost-efficiency
- Contribute to data governance efforts, documentation practices, and encourage best practices in analytics engineering
- Ensure data quality through rigorous data debugging skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Adapt to a rapidly changing and evolving environment with indefinite requirements
- Engage closely with diverse international cross-functional teams, leveraging strong communication skills and technical expertise to resolve technical issues effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Professional experience ranging from 2 to 7 years
- Proficiency in SQL alongside experience in data modeling for analytics purposes
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, quick learning aptitude, and the ability to adapt to new challenges
- A proactive attitude with a keen interest in streamlining inefficient procedures
