Position Overview:

We are in search of an adept professional versed in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) to join our ecosystem team as a DeFi/IPFi Associate. If you possess a background in DeFi development or come from the finance sector with comprehensive exposure to diverse DeFi markets, we encourage you to apply.

As a DeFi/IPFi Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies targeted at the DeFi/IPFi vertical. Leveraging your expertise, you will guide partners in maximizing their impact during launch phases and ensuring sustained success thereafter. Your responsibility will also extend to engaging and enlightening new regional DeFi communities about the novel applications deployed on the Story platform.

This role demands operational proficiency and adaptability to effectively manage evolving challenges in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, process-driven, and possess up-to-date knowledge of the DeFi landscape, making a significant contribution to defining the future of IPFi within Story.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate high-potential partnerships with emerging and established DeFi protocols.
• Drive growth within existing IPFi partnerships by enhancing user adoption and optimizing product offerings.
• Maintain a comprehensive partnership database and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Liaise with technical teams and other stakeholders to align DeFi partners with market requirements and business objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify key opinion leaders, influencers, and liquidity providers for ecosystem partners.
• Foster relationships with strategic players in the regional DeFi arena and establish a robust distribution network to support ecosystem projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with marketing teams, on strategic initiatives for maximum impact.
• Spearhead new projects geared towards enhancing the visibility and success of IPFi protocols independently or in conjunction with IP projects on Story.
• Provide support for the Head of IPFi's strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, finance, or venture capital, preferably within the DeFi or traditional financial sectors.
• Proficiency in DeFi technology, particularly in prominent ecosystems or projects, is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with various DeFi projects, including an understanding of product design and tokenomics.
• Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills for prioritizing product features based on market demands and business objectives.
• Native or fluent proficiency in languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or other widely spoken languages across the APAC regions is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, a process-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
