Who You Are:

As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will be instrumental in upholding and elevating Galaxy's quality standards. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, leading a team of QA professionals, and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product/service quality consistently.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure high-quality product/service delivery aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Lead and guide a team of QA professionals to cultivate a culture of quality excellence through mentorship and support.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including product development, engineering, and operations, to integrate quality assurance processes holistically into the product lifecycle.
  • Establish and enforce quality metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to gauge and improve the effectiveness of QA processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing quality assurance practices by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a robust testing framework, including automated tools, to ensure thorough coverage of product features and functionalities.
  • Coordinate with project managers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications, systems, and processes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements in quality assurance practices at Galaxy.
  • Act as a liaison with external partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on quality assurance initiatives, test results, and improvement recommendations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in implementing and managing automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across departments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive QA strategies aligned with organizational goals.
