We are seeking a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in Web3 and blockchain technology to oversee activities in the EMEA regions. This individual will be responsible for cultivating regional relationships, enhancing our public blockchain ecosystem and protocols, namely Horizen and zkVerify.
The primary responsibilities of this role entail securing new integrations, distribution channels, and partnerships in the Web3 space within Europe, targeting large enterprises, organizations, and governments. Additionally, the role involves engaging with Web3 protocols and developers in the European blockchain community to drive adoption of Horizen and zkVerify.
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex technical concepts related to blockchain technology. Above all, we are looking for a committed individual who can help our company become the leading blockchain ecosystem for essential protocols, developers, and enterprise organizations globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive results by creating integrations and partnerships for our products, including Horizen and zkVerify, with a focus on achieving onchain, financial, and sales-related goals.
Conduct discussions with potential partners, explore industry trends in Web3 verticals, and share insights with Product, Marketing, and Enterprise Solutions teams.
Collaborate with different departments to develop tailored blockchain solutions with clear return on investments.
Work on proposals for potential partners, participate in negotiations, and oversee deal closures and post-deal support by collaborating with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Legal teams.
Support current partners in maximizing their experience with our products, ensuring the fulfillment of expected returns, and identifying areas for product improvement or expansion to better cater to partners' needs.
Contribute to refining the company's business development processes to meet growth objectives.
Mentor and develop a team of dynamic business development managers and associates.
Requirements:
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, creativity, and humility.
Strong interest in blockchain technology, DeFi applications, NFTs, wallets, explorers, DAO tools, and other fundamental Web3 components; preference for candidates with a technical Master’s degree and a proven track record in forging partnerships within the Web3 space.
Proficiency in devising enterprise solutions to business challenges, displaying the ability to deeply comprehend a business through research and analysis.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a preference for possessing an established network of potential partners or prior experience in building relationships with executive-level management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey intricate blockchain and crypto-related topics to non-experts.
