What We're Seeking

As the face of our company at events, you will be responsible for creating and delivering memorable experiences that showcase our brand and establish meaningful connections with key partners and early adopters. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who is equally passionate about web3 and event management. You will have the opportunity to shape our events program, working closely with the marketing team to create exciting and relevant event experiences.

Working in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment, you will be expected to think outside the box and identify new opportunities for growth. As a master motivator and leader, you will inspire and push our event team to deliver outstanding results at every event. Additionally, you will champion the importance of events throughout the organization, ensuring that the event agenda is aligned with our overall business goals.

In addition to being highly organized and creative, you will be data and analytics-driven, continuously fine-tuning our approach to events based on real-time learnings. You will take pride in measuring the performance of each event and making data-driven adjustments to optimize our event strategy.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Lead and execute IoTeX/MachineFi event strategy, including identifying key events, training internal teams, maintaining communication, and ensuring seamless event attendance.
  • Oversee the design and construction of our Event Showcase, making it adaptable to deliver contextually relevant experiences and accommodate future expansion.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of events through our Event Management process, continuously improving and refining the process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to coordinate and staff events, ensuring a cohesive narrative.
  • Work with our tech teams and partners to showcase our latest products and technologies in the best possible way.
  • Collaborate with business development to set event objectives and spearhead initiatives to meet those objectives, such as lead generation and customer advocacy.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts for both large and small-scale events.
  • Travel frequently, dedicating up to 50% of your time to attending various events.
  • Analyze and report on event ROI using relevant systems and metrics.
  • Build and manage a team of event marketing specialists.
  • Foster relationships with prospective clients on an individual basis.
  • Present on behalf of IoTeX/MachineFi at events when key individuals are unavailable.
  • Conduct workshops and showcase our latest technologies at events.
  • Organize relevant on-brand side events.
  • Interact with key decision-makers and account holders.
  • Collaborate with in-house designers to ensure our event displays accurately represent our brand.
  • Manage event inventory and maintain our swag store.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in event marketing.
  • Proven track record in planning, attending, and reporting on events.
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise and business development teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage resources, budgets, and personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate and compelling presenter who can effectively convey the excitement of our company.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and innovative, always thinking outside the box.
  • Metric-driven with the ability to derive insights from complex marketing data.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods, working extended hours, and traveling frequently.
