Who You Are:

As a crucial member of the FP&A team, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining financial models for our diverse business units, particularly trading. This role involves producing management reports for individual traders/teams and company executives. An ideal candidate should possess strategic thinking abilities to translate conceptual ideas into detailed executable plans with precision. This individual should be comfortable in fast-paced environments and possess the resilience to manage multiple priority tasks efficiently. This position will be the team's first hire in London, UK, and will require seamless remote collaboration with teammates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of Galaxy’s various business sectors, such as trading, asset management, and mining.
  • Update and maintain different daily, weekly, and quarterly P&L reporting streams.
  • Manage reconciliations of FP&A models against other data sources.
  • Collaborate with business units and FP&A team members to model new business requirements.
  • Aid in projects to transition Excel-based models into automated processes.
  • Assist in global trading and operational activities, including wire approvals and crypto transfers.
